Release notes

Jul 5, 2026

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Season 2 has begun

Everyone's Elo is reset for a fresh race. Season 1's final standings are saved โ€” switch to it any time from the season menu in the header โ€” and the new-season banner rides along the Overall / 1v1 / 2v2 boards.

Jul 5, 2026

๐Ÿ“ฑ App-style navigation

A new bottom menu bar โ€” Home, History, a ๏ผ‹ to log a match, the Foosball Premier League, and the Team Generator โ€” with a Statistics menu (Elo trends ยท Head to head) in the top corner.

๐Ÿ” Faster match logging

Adding players is now a searchable list instead of a grid of names: type any part of a name and tap the Winners or Losers box to pick a side. Real names work too โ€” searching โ€œandrewโ€ finds โ€œFraudrewโ€ โ€” and the list auto-sizes so the whole form fits on one screen. The same picker now powers the Team Generator, Head to head, and Elo trends.

๐Ÿ† Foosball Premier League

Sign up your team โ€” singles or duos โ€” for the upcoming regular season where everyone plays everyone. The round-robin table is coming soon; for now, get your team on the list.

Jul 5, 2026

๐ŸŽฒ Team Generator refresh

A cleaner layout: Random and Fair buttons, then arrows under the suggested teams to cycle through the fairest splits or re-roll a random one.

๐Ÿ’ก Tidier feedback board

You can now edit your own posts (the โœŽ pencil), and the status categories collapse โ€” Open and In progress stay up top so the active ideas are front and center.

๐Ÿ“ฒ Add foos.foo to your home screen

Use it like an app โ€” full-screen, with a soccer-ball icon. On iPhone: open foos.foo in Safari, tap the Share button, then 'Add to Home Screen'. On Android: open the browser menu (โ‹ฎ) and tap 'Install app' or 'Add to Home screen'.

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Seasons

Ratings reset each season for a fresh race to the top. Past seasons are saved โ€” your final Elo, rank, and P-tier appear on your profile, and the season picker in the header re-scopes the whole site (board, match history, Elo trends, head-to-head) to any past season.

Jun 28, 2026

๐Ÿ“ˆ Elo trends

A new trends page overlays every player's Elo over the season on one graph, with Overall / 1v1 / 2v2 tabs. Toggle players on and off โ€” colors auto-spread so the fewer you show, the more distinct they are โ€” and hover any day to see everyone's rating.

Jun 28, 2026

โš”๏ธ Head to head

A new head-to-head page: pick any players for two sides (or one side vs the whole field) and see their record โ€” exact rosters or any lineup that includes them โ€” with win %, expected %, and the matching games.

Jun 28, 2026

๐Ÿ“ Format views โ€” Overall ยท 1v1 ยท 2v2

Overall / 1v1 / 2v2 tabs now run across the leaderboard, player profiles, match history, and Elo trends. Each format is its own Elo, counting only games of that exact shape, so your singles and doubles ratings are tracked separately.

Jun 28, 2026

๐Ÿ” Rematch button + win odds

Every match has a โŸณ rematch button that re-opens the log screen with the same teams. Match history now shows each team's pre-match win chance โ€” a low number next to a win means an upset.

Jun 28, 2026

๐Ÿ“ˆ Profile upgrades

Peak rating, overall Wโ€“L, and match history shown from your point of view (your team always on the left).

Jun 17, 2026

๐Ÿ… Leaderboard polish

Five tiers (P1โ€“P5) with colorblind-friendly colors, and players who haven't played in two weeks drop off the live board (their data and their spot in the match-logging list are kept).
